MAP Toolkit Goal No. 1 – To Generate Information Sets

ministry appreciation and participation tools

Imagine yourself going to your new pastoral assignment.

It’s your first day of work, and you wanted to know more about the church.

You might have gotten some information beforehand, maybe during the pastoral search.

Now that you’re finally starting, you need further details.

What should you do?

Yes, it’s common sense that to appreciate and participate in a church organisation or ministry, one needs to get to know the organisation or program they are joining.

As a pastor or ministry leader, you might already have some data sets in mind, and you need to fill them up and then start the planning process.

Maybe the church has been implementing an information gathering system that they update every year and use for strategic planning.

What if the church doesn’t have an existing and updated information portfolio that the new pastor could read and study?

So, one of the goals of the MAP Toolkit is to generate information sets that are necessary for consistent church growth planning and ministry implementation.

The MAP Toolkit has tools to facilitate gathering data, participatory and creative.

These information sets will be helpful for consistent church growth planning and ministry implementation.

The information sets and the data gathering process may vary, depending on the participants’ creativity, but the critical dynamics in using the MAP tools are participatory and creative.
